About
Our desire is for your children to grow roots here at Jonesboro Baptist that will produce a genuine relationship with God. We aim to partner with families as they build a Biblical foundation in the lives of their children and strengthen their children’s relationships with friends, peers and adults, as well as the church community.
Our goal is to equip them to flourish as we teach the Bible and communicate the Gospel clearly, in a manner children are able to comprehend. It is our honor to serve and lead children as they begin their spiritual growth and a gift to partner with parents as they endeavor to encourage and lead well for God’s glory.
Meeting Times
Sunday Mornings
9:45am & 11am
There is a Sunday School Class for all ages of our JHBCkids, whether nursery-aged or 5th grade. These classes begin at 9:45 am each Sunday. For help finding your child’s Sunday School class, find one of our greeters, and they will gladly help you find that location.
During the 11am worship service, Children’s Church is offered during the sermon portion. Kids will be led out by our volunteers after the Offertory Music for a time of age-appropriate Bible study, crafts, and games. Volunteers will bring the children back into the Sanctuary following the invitational song.
Wednesday Evenings
6 pm – 7:25 pm
We are proud to offer AWANA to our kids, 3 years old through 5th Grade.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of your children is our top priority. We ensure a secure environment through background checks, trained staff, and comprehensive safety protocols, so you can have peace of mind while your children learn and grow in a loving and secure setting.
Check-In / Check-Out
You’ll find we operate on a digital check-in / check-out procedure with controlled access to the exits and kid areas. Your child will only be released back to the parent/guardian or other authorized adult on file. If you are planning to join us for the first time, you can save time at check-ins by creating your family’s profile here.
Volunteer & Staff Background Checks
All JHBC Volunteers and Staff undergo extensive background checks and are trained to follow kid-friendly safety and security policies.
