Sunday School at Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church is a comprehensive and on-going area for Bible teaching and a great place to receive Christian Fellowship. Bible teaching is the major focus of Sunday School. Our curriculum consists of Lifeway Bible Studies and video-based resources.
We welcome everyone to visit Sunday School each Sunday morning. Greeters at the door are available to help you find a Sunday School class.
WHO is small group for?
Within the Sunday School program there are classes for all age groups. We have classes for nursery, children, youth, and couples of all ages as well as specific groups for adult men and women.
WHAT is the purpose for small groups?
To create small communities that develop relationships safe enough for us to care for one another through Jesus’ grace and truth. New groups are formed periodically. Groups focus on nurturing one another as believers, although the style and content will vary by group. Some of the options include: Sermon reflection and application, Bible Studies, Topical Studies, Discussion of Christian books.
WHERE do the small groups meet?
Many groups meet in homes of members who live near the church. Others reserve a room on campus and meet there. Some groups, especially those that have families with small children, elect to meet at the church and have nursery and childcare provided.
HOW can I sign up?
Signing up is easy. Simply contact the church office and express your interest in joining a small group. We will work to match you with a group that is compatible to you. You can join a group at any point. Just let us know of your interest.
